So most of you may not care, but Mike and I are getting a new table. It's pretty and it's amish... and it will take 10 weeks to get to our house. My favorite thing about it is that it will last our entire lives. Nothing fake or pressed or glued. Just solid wood.

I'm going to order the chairs a little later (I may need a few suggestions on some good sturdy ones because I don't know if I love any of the ones they have available.)
So that is what is new with us.
P.S. Have I mentioned that my nephews are adorable??? They are. Check out my sister's blog and you'll see.

Fabulous table guys. Time for a turkey dinner with all your families. That will be fun if it ever happens. You'll need a few kiddie tables. And another Aunt table. And a cousin table. Dream on Gina... Ha !
The bench on one side idea is great. I love a comfortable low bench to sit on. Good for sitting for a long time with a laptop on the table. (I love the shape of this table)
Looks so nice! I know there is a place in Utah that sells all sorts of chairs...I think it is called fourchairs. They might ship...but that'd be expensive...so I don't know what to tell you. Costplus has good priced chairs...but probably not as substantial as you'd want to go with such a big sturdy table.
Oh my goodness! She blogged. That table is looking sweet! Where did you find it? How big does it open up to? Does it have leaves or a slide out extension? or does it just stay that size... It is very nice! Can't wait to see it!
And I agree your nephews are adorable!!!!!!
