So there is a bird's nest on top of our front door. I don't know why it chose that spot since we come in and out all the time! We think it is an oriel. When ever we come home and she is sitting, she stays as long as she dares and then swoops away. Sometimes at the last minute (in the dark) and it scares me quite often. Well, there are bright blue eggs in it.

Well, now we have a new surprise! I saw her standing there staring at me through the window of our foyer (on top of our doorway) and she had a worm in her mouth so I had to check it out...
and this is what I saw!!!
Three of them are hatched and one is left unhatched. You can barely see the blue egg that the other ones are sleeping on.

Oh how sweet. Now I want updates every few days cause we want to see those birdies grow... SO FUN!!!!
I looked up robin eggs on the internet and the pictures show you have a robin's nest not an oriole. The pictures are a perfect match.
Of course! Robin's Egg Blue is a very famous color! One of my favorite colors of all! Cute to think about Mothers Day with the new mother birdie! Sooo Fuzzy!
